Objectives
Strategies
Infinity's event management team created a comprehensive promotional plan with a strong focus on event sponsorship. The activities and content of the event was increased in order to appeal to a wider audience, including a parachutist jumping from a plane holding the Canadian Flag. Accessibility to the event was increased to capture a larger demographic of those located outside of Bronte Village by having shuttle buses transport people to the event. Social Media was used to leverage interest and generate buzz about the event.
Results
Infinity helped to broker a relationship between the Bronte BIA and the inaugural 'Host a Veteran' Fishing Derby launched on Canada Day. This event was fitting, as it allowed all to show their gratitude to the brave men and women serving our country and how proud we are to be Canadian. The Derby helped to raise awareness and funds for Military Family Resource Centres. Proceeds raised help to support the families of veterans and soldiers who are faced with a long road of recovery and treatments.
