The Halo Effect

The team at Infinity Communications created a social movement for the month of February, called The Halo Effect. We encourage people worldwide to do one good deed everyday for 28 days and share their experiences with others. Unlike random acts of kindness, The Halo Effect is about forethought.  Planning 28 things that people can do as individuals or in groups each day takes the focus off themselves and directs positive energy towards others. To carry on the halo effect throughout the year, we participate in monthly group activities, from visiting the senior home to collecting clothes for the shelter.

Bike 4 Betty is an annual family bike event in support of patients struggling with cancer. The bike ride encourages cyclists of all abilities to participate. The riders can choose from five routes, ranging from 100k challenging rides to leisurely 2k family rides. The participation and fundraising support from the event benefit Trillium’s Betty Wallace Women’s Health Centre and recently opened Betty & Buster Lockwood Cancer Detection and Treatment Centre. At Trillium, they provide expert, leading-edge diagnosis and compassionate treatment in state-of-the-art facilities.

Make Child Poverty History (MCPH)

MCPH believes no one should go hungry in this day and age, particularly not children whose entire development and future capacity is dependent upon their health and nutrition during childhood. We also believe that every child deserves a basic education, clean water and health care. Providing these basic necessities of life will in turn ensure that this generation of children can provide for their families to come - future generations – so that the desperation felt today won’t continue into tomorrow.

EMAGINE Canada

Part of Imagine Canada, EMAGINE is a new, national program dedicated to inspiring and enabling entrepreneurs and investors, to give back to the community by pledging a percentage of their future profits to the charity(ies) of their choice.
